Jillian O'Toole is a genetic counselor at the Rosamund Stone Zander Translational Neuroscience Center, where she splits her time between clinical care and research. She provides genetic counseling in multidisciplinary clinics for individuals with tuberous sclerosis, Kleefstra syndrome, CDKL5, and Rett syndrome, and will also support clinical and research efforts related to ReNU syndrome in collaboration with Dr. Maya Chopra. Jillian earned her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania in 2025, with clinical training at institutions including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and Penn Medicine. At CHOP, she worked as a LEND fellow where she helped to develop curricula to support youth with complex medical needs as they transitioned to adulthood and explored employment opportunities.
