Dr. Whitman is a native of Swampscott, Massachusetts. He went to Northfield Mount Hermon School for high school, graduated Tufts University and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Whitman did his internship and residency at The Floating Hospital for Children of the Tufts Medical Center and was Chief Resident in Pediatrics. He joined Framingham Pediatrics in 1997. Dr Whitman is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Approach to Care
I believe that excellent medical care begins with a healthy relationship with your doctor. I strive to make our visits as low stress as possible. That way we can have a conversation in a comfortable environment. I have been known to tell a few jokes and wear funny ties, or socks, to lighten the mood.
