Catherine graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Northeastern University with a Master of Science in Nursing. She began her career as a pediatric registered nurse at CHU Sainte-Justine Hospital in Montreal, Canada and then joined Boston Children's Hospital in 2015. Catherine worked as a registered nurse within the Infant/Toddler Surgical Program and the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit before transitioning roles as a pediatric nurse practitioner within the Immunocompromised/Transplant Infectious Diseases department.

She is driven to pursue a career in infectious diseases that focuses primarily on preventing and managing infections in solid organ and hematopoietic transplant recipients. She is dually-certified as an acute and primary care pediatric nurse practitioner, critical care registered nurse, pediatric nurse and PALS provider.
