Ana M. Vaughan-Malloy, MD, MPH received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and her MPH from the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at Phoenix Children's Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center. After practicing as a pediatric hospitalist in Arizona, she completed her fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Vaughan-Malloy joined the faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Boston Children's Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Vaughan currently serves as the Associate Hospital Epidemiologist, working within the Department of Infection Prevention and Control. Her research interests span the epidemiology of healthcare-associated infections, the immunocompromised host, and quality improvement initiatives to protect patients, visitors and staff.
