Referrals

If you would like to refer a patient with known or suspected cerebrovascular disease to Boston Children's Hospital, please contact us directly at:

It is helpful for us to have the following test results before the patient arrives, along with:

any clinical or operative notes (if applicable)
any x-ray, MRI, or CT scan films or angiograms
relevant lab work reports

Images may be uploaded to our secure server. For temporary credentials and instructions, please email the center at CVDSurgery@childrens.harvard.edu or call 617-919-1379. We may request additional images once we’ve been in contact with you.

Consultations

The center also is pleased to provide clinician consultations via telephone. If you would like to arrange a consultation, please phone 617-919-1379 or email us at CVDSurgery@childrens.harvard.edu.

Telemedicine follow-ups

For patients living far from Boston, we are able to conduct many follow-up visits via videoconferencing. You or your patient may email or phone us to arrange.

International patients

We partner with physicians around the world. Patients may be referred by physicians, payers or embassies.
