Professional History

Dr. Young Yi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Mathematics from Colorado College, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Yi completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a board certified pediatric dentist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Yi serves as an Instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and teaches pediatric dental residents at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is also an Oral Clinical Examiner and member of the Examination Committee for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, he serves on the Executive Board of the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and on the Board of the Northeastern District of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Approach to Care
I strive to support children in every aspect of their oral health. My approach emphasizes prevention, early detection, and thoughtful treatment of dental disease in a caring, patient centered environment where children and families feel comfortable, informed, and supported.
