Richard N. Yu | Professional History
Richard N. Yu, MD, PhD, is board-certified in urology and fellowship trained in pediatric urology. He treats pediatric patients with general urology problems, congenital abnormalities of the urinary tract, and children at risk for infertility. Holder of the Palumbo Family Directorship in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Dr. Yu helps advance surgical techniques that make the fewest and smallest incisions possible so that patients can recover from surgery faster with smaller scars. He also serves as an expert for the Precision Medicine Service, which uses genetics to inform care for children with rare and difficult-to-treat conditions.
