Rebecca Wachter | Professional History
Dr. Rebecca Wachter grew up in Westchester, NY. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience. She then earned a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University, and completed an Intramural Research Training Fellowship at the NIH. Dr. Wachter earned her MD degree from New York Medical College, and completed her pediatric training at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. She lives in New York City with her husband and loves spending time with family and friends. Team sports and staying active outdoors have always played a big role in her life, and she is grateful to have Central Park in her backyard. Dr. Wachter feels very lucky to be able to care for children from their first newborn visit all the way through young adulthood. She enjoys working closely with families to ensure their kids stay healthy and happy throughout these formative years.
