Diana Haddad is a born and raised New Yorker. She grew up in Manhattan and went to high school in Riverdale. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2006 where she studied Spanish Literature and enjoyed a semester studying in Madrid. She endured the long New Hampshire winters by teaching skiing to children. Prior to starting medical school at NYU Langone School of Medicine in 2008, she lived in Vail, Colorado for two years teaching skiing and enjoying life outdoors. She did her Pediatrics residency at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital (2012-2015) followed by a Pediatric ICU fellowship (2015-2018) at Northwell Health Cohens Children’s Hospital, where she also served as Chief Fellow from 2017-2018. She is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

Within one year of joining the division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in 2018, she received several awards and accolades including the Paul Woolf Outstanding Teacher Award and Boston Children’s Health Physicians Provider of the month. In addition to her full time clinical position in the PICU, she also serves as the Site Director of New York Medical College’s third year medical student Pediatric Clerkship. She is also involved with the Pediatric Residency program at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital where she is the head of Resident Wellness, serves as a faculty mentor to several residents annually, sits on the Program Evaluation Committee and teaches a lecture series of her own design called Critical Care Concepts. Her academic interests include pediatric respiratory failure and advanced modes of mechanical ventilation, and early enteral nutrition in critically ill infants and children.

She lives in Westchester with her husband and four young children, and their dog.
