PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Dr. Jeffery Goldsmith began his career at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a junior gastrointestinal pathologist, starting in 2003, and began work at Boston Children's Hospital as a pediatric gastrointestinal pathologist. As his career evolved, he began specializing in pediatric GI diseases. Dr. Goldsmith began working at BCH full time in 2016.

Dr. Goldsmith practices pediatric gastrointestinal pathology at Boston Children's Hospital and also serves as the director of the gastrointestinal pathology service. His research interests include the clinicopathologic aspects of pediatric gastrointestinal diseases such as celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases, congenital diarrheal illness, and polyposes.
