Philosophy of Care

My goal is to create a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment clinic within the department of dentistry at BCH for young patients and those with special health care needs. This clinic will combine services of pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other dental disciplines in order to be able to provide complex dental care for a group who may not be able to access it.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Dr. Fida received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) in 2008. She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Boston Children's Hospital/HSDM and obtained a certificate in 2010. She stayed on as a full time attending dentist at BCH providing direct patient care as well as supervision of residents and students. From 2013-2017 she served as the Director of Pre-doctoral Pediatric Dentistry at HSDM. Her professional interest in managing children with traumatic dental injuries led her to complete a second residency in endodontics at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine from 2017-2019. Upon completion of this program, Dr. Fida returned to a full time role at BCH providing direct patient care and supervision of residents and students as both an endodontist and pediatric dentist. Dr. Fida has an interest in dental education and has been a part of numerous textbook chapters, CE courses and lectures.
