Partha Sekhar Ghosh | Professional History

I am a clinical pediatric neurologist who specializes in neuromuscular disorders. As a practicing neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital, I perform two outpatient sessions at the Neuromuscular Center at Boston and four in General Neurology at Waltham clinic. I am the director of the EMG laboratory at BCH.  Teaching of fellows, residents, medical students, and professionals is another of my major commitments. I am currently involved as a co-PI in an industry-funded Phase 3, Randomized, Double-blind, Sham-Procedure Controlled Study to Assess the Clinical Efficacy and Safety of ISIS 396443. The objective of this study is to examine the clinical efficacy of ISIS 396443 administered intrathecally to patients with infantile-onset spinal muscular atrophy. My goal at BCH is to use my expertise to support the Neuromuscular Center and EMG Laboratory and establish myself as a leading pediatric neuromuscular specialist.

Dr. Ghosh serves as an expert for the Department of Neurology for Boston Children's Hospital Precision Medicine Service. For more information about the Precision Medicine Service please visit bostonchildrens.org/precisionmed.
