Diane Lindsay-Adler | Professional History

Diane provides one-on-one nutrition counseling to patients that begin with a careful assessment of medical/dietary history and the patient’s lifestyle. Personalized nutrition education and an individualized plan are provided. She offers in-person and telehealth visits.

Diane recently earned a certificate of training in Pediatric and Adult Obesity from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has taught a Zoom nutrition workshop for parents: “Mission Nutrition: A Course for Parents But All About Kids!" and will be offering more online courses teaching about current nutrition hot topics such as meal planning and picky eating.

Diane is a staff member of the Children’s Environmental Health Center of the Hudson Valley, where she works with a team of environmental experts addressing food insecurity and providing current information to the community on food safety and various environmental issues.

She is currently conducting a grant-funded study of how the taste and smell sensitivity of children affects food choices.
