Lisa M. Casavecchia is a clinical social worker with over 16 years experience working with children, teens, and adults. Prior to her position as the Behavioral Health Specialist at Neponset Valley Pediatrics, Lisa spent the last 15 years as a therapist for an outpatient program that specialized in abuse and trauma. Prior to her role as a therapist, Lisa worked as a Prevention Educator in the RI schools and as a Research Assistant for Brown University, Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior.

I believe in treating patients holistically and from the framework of the individual within their environment. I help patients to identify and address emotional, physical, and relational barriers to health and wellness and to increase coping and stress management skills to minimize distress and maximize happiness and quality of life.
