As an undergraduate, Dr. Brubaker studied health policy at Harvard University. She spent several years doing research on primary care policy at Brigham and Women's Hospital before attending Harvard Medical School. During medical school, she was drawn to the medical questions and family focus of pediatrics. She completed her residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital where she used her elective time to focus on primary care and outpatient medicine.
