In her previous work, Christy has engaged children and adolescents in individual, group, and family therapy using a variety of techniques including CBT, trauma-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, art therapy, and mindfulness. She has extensive experience working with children and families impacted by emotional, physical, and medical trauma and bereavement. Aside from assisting children and families with navigating and coping with acute crises, Christy also provides clinical and therapeutic counseling for children and adolescents, who are coping with behavioral health concerns, such as: anxiety, depression, PTSD, complicated grief, ADHD, bipolar disorder and other emotional difficulties arising from social stressors. She is excited to be joining the Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics team and looks forward to working with children and families within the practice.
