Professional History

Dr. Carolyn Sax received her undergraduate and MD degrees from Harvard University and completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Sax teaches Harvard Medical Students in their primary care clerkship and is a recipient of the Award of Service to Pediatrics and the Community, the highest award granted to a community pediatrician from the Children’s Hospital of Boston.

Approach to Care
I strive to listen carefully, understanding needs and concerns within the context of lifestyle and community. Where evidence-based answers exist, I educate about that evidence. But where there are multiple ways of approaching challenges, I offer options and help families make decisions that work best for them. I am committed to advocating for my patient's physical health and emotional well-being.
