Beata Puri | Professional History

Dr. Beata Puri received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed her Pediatric residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts-New England Medical Center. She has a Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Tufts-Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences. She is currently working as a community physician at Pediatric Associates of Hampden County in Westfield, MA where she has been employed for the past 4 years. She presently serves as the District physician for Southwick Regional Schools.

I believe in an approach to medical care that revolves around respect, education and partnership. I strive to respect families and their cultures and maintain privacy and confidentiality. My patients are presented with evidence based information to help them make decisions about their physical and emotional health. I maintain professional relationships with my patients, families and co-workers.
