Alixandra Krawcke | Professional History
Alix is a Registered Dietitian with a background in eating disorders, adolescent health, and sports nutrition. She completed her dietetic internship at Simmons university with a concentration in research and eating disorder treatment and continued her training in adolescent medicine by participating in a fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital in the Adolescent Medicine Clinic.
Alix was a D1 rower at Michigan State University. Her own struggles with adequately fueling for performance and working with the phenomenal dietitians at the university is what prompted her interest in pursuing a career in the field. Alix practices a weight neutral approach to nutrition counseling, with a focus on developing a long-term positive and flexible relationship with food and body. Her interests include research on women's health and performance, eating disorder treatment, the relationship between gender and relationship with food.
