The mission of the Boston Children’s Hospital Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellowship Program is to recruit motivated and qualified licensed occupational therapists who have a strong interest in pediatrics and to provide an opportunity for advanced, intensive clinical and didactic training in order for them to become clinicians, researchers, and educators of choice with a pediatric specialization.
Program highlights
52-week program divided into several learning modules
Diverse learning experiences related to neuro-developmental populations, acute inpatient care, developmental and childhood diseases, early intervention, upper extremity conditions, chronic pain, augmentative communication, and assistive technology
Fellowship faculty includes practitioners with advanced skill training and certifications
Participation in multidisciplinary care clinics
Shared didactic experiences with Harvard Medical School residency programs and the Boston Children’s Physical Therapy Resident
