Samantha Spencer, MD

Samantha Spencer MDSamantha Spencer, MD, has been elected as the first female President of the Massachusetts Orthopaedic Association, where she had previously served as Vice President.

Dr. Spencer is now one of only a dozen female presidents of statewide orthopedic associations across the country. Alongside her work at Boston Children’s, she is an Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School, and serves on the medical advisory board for the CLOVES Foundation.

Her work treating patients with congenital and traumatic conditions — as well as her clinical research focusing on congenital lower extremities and vascular anomalies — has improved the lives of many patients at Boston Children’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center.
