The Vascular Anomalies Center (VAC) at Boston Children's Hospital provides a wide range of comprehensive services for people of all ages with vascular malformations or vascular tumors across a range of complexity, and their physicians.
The interdisciplinary VAC clinic and VAC nurse practitioner clinic provide an opportunity for in-person evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for those with vascular anomalies. In addition to direct patient care at Boston Children's, the VAC's interdisciplinary staff makes their expertise available to patients and physicians throughout the United States and internationally through consultations and reviews during their weekly conference.
Once a treatment plan is established, VAC staff will help coordinate appointments at Boston Children’s with specialty clinics such as interventional radiology, plastics, dermatology, hematology, gastroenterology or surgery.
