Whether it’s a bump, sprain or break, we understand your child may need pediatric orthopedic expertise – fast.
Boston Children's Hospital’s Orthopedic Center provides same-day, urgent care for kids by world-class orthopedic specialists in Boston, Peabody, Waltham, and Weymouth. With a physician’s referral, children and adolescents can be treated for injuries and musculoskeletal problems not serious enough for the Emergency Department (ED), but that still require quick evaluation and care.
Patients are often seen on the day they get hurt or during the same week, depending on the seriousness of the injury. Plus, insurance co-pays for urgent care visits are much lower than ED visits, making pediatric urgent care visits more affordable.
Conditions commonly treated at the Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic include:
• limb pain
• unexplained limp
