Well Visits

Regular visits are recommended for all children and teens to check on general health, growth and development, and to receive immunizations. These appointments should be made four to eight weeks in advance. If there are concerns, especially during the first few months, your doctor may recommend your child be seen more often.

Sick Appointments

We do our best to see our sick patients on the same day. Please call early in the day to help facilitate this.

Self-Scheduling Guidelines

Our self-scheduling tool is intended for simple health problems like sore throat, earache, cough, fever, rash, and common straightforward health problems.

You may only self-schedule a sick appointment if your child:

  • is over six months of age
  • only has one health problem
  • has had symptoms fewer than three days

If your child falls outside this criteria, please call our office to schedule a sick appointment so we can better serve you.

Vaccination Schedule

We are strong advocates of vaccination. Take a look at our recommended schedule.

Pediatric Subspecialty Referrals

Please see our pediatric specialty referral guide for information on the pediatric subspecialists we commonly refer our patients to.

If you need a referral please call our office in advance of the appointment so we can provide it to you.

After Hours

After hours, a medical provider is always available by telephone for urgent calls and emergencies. You may call our office at 845-359-0010, and our answering service will put you in touch with one of our providers.

On alternate weekends, our after-hours coverage is provided by Bardonia Pediatrics: Dr. Adam Lerche, Dr. Sandra Ortiz and Dr. Louise Jovino. Their telephone number is 845-623-8031.
