Current Environment:

Providing the best pediatric care possible includes the ability to serve a child’s mental health needs. PHCA is a pioneer in the development of providing specialized mental health care within the primary care practice. Our staff includes a child and adolescent psychiatrist, two psychiatric nurse practitioners, and seven child and adolescent behavioral health therapists.

With the exception of rare, complex mental health conditions, patients of PHCA can access mental health service in a practice that ensures collaboration between the specialist and the general medical treatment team.

Psychiatry appointments are held at our Peabody office location and are only available to patients whose PCP is a PHCA provider.  If you would like to schedule a psychiatry consultation, discuss your concerns with your PCP at your next visit, who can place a referral for an initial evaluation.
