Current Environment:

Well visits

Lexington Pediatrics follows the American Academy of Pediatrics well visit schedule. To schedule a well visit, call the office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be booked up to one year in advance. When you arrive for your visit there will be a few forms to complete, including age appropriate behavioral health screens, so please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time.

Sick & other visits

Sick and other visits are available. To schedule any sick or other visits, call the office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Urgent sick visits

We are open for urgent visits on weekends and holidays by appointment only.  Phone lines open at 8:30 a.m.

Lactation services

Lactation Consults: All of our nurse practitioners are available for individual consult visits during our regular work hours.

Group Services: We are excited to offer a Breastfeeding Support Group here at Lexington Pediatrics. Your peers can offer emotional support and the knowledge that you are not alone in your struggles. Our Breastfeeding Support Group is facilitated by our nurse practitioners and meets every Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to noon. Please see the Home Page or call the office for more information.

Travel visits

Our nurse practitioners are available for travel consultations for most destinations. If your child or family is planning a trip, please call the office as soon as possible to schedule a travel visit.

During your appointment, please have your itinerary available. We will review vaccinations to ensure they're up to date, including necessary travel vaccines; review water, sun, insect and food safety; and provide any additional information and medication necessary. It's best to schedule the travel visit at least one month before your trip.

Ear piercing

Patients must be up to date with well visits and vaccines.

The earliest we will pierce ears is after the two-month immunizations.

Available by appointment only, not part of a well visit or sick visit.

We reserve the right to cancel a procedure if we feel, for any reason, that the situation may be unsafe due to a child’s unwillingness to cooperate.

Cost is $140 – this is not covered by insurance.
