Welcome to Heather O. Davidson Pediatrics!

Welcome to Heather O. Davidson Pediatrics. As an experienced pediatrician, Dr. Heather Davidson is committed to caring for the health and wellbeing of local children and families in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and in the surrounding communities. Our practice is currently accepting new patients of all ages, from newborns to young adults.

Dr. Davidson runs her own private practice, which means she sees each patient herself every time they come into the office. This allows her to get to know the child, and the entire family, on a very personal level. As a result, she treats the whole person and not just the symptoms. That’s why many patients and families stay with her from birth through to adulthood.  She also has relationships with specialists through the greater Boston area so children with complex needs always have access to the very best care.

Dr. Davidson has spent more than 20 years providing health care for children in the local area after graduating from Tufts University School of Medicine. The office is located in a state-of-the-art building that is modern and welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere that helps children feel very at home there.

The team also includes pediatric nurse practitioner Julia Balkema and Tina DiCicco, RN

Specializing in child development

Dr. Davidson recognizes that children and teenagers aren't just small adults—their minds and bodies are still developing and they have very specific needs that require the expertise and commitment of a pediatrician who has devoted their entire career to caring for kids. As a result, many local families have come to count on Dr. Davidson to care for their children’s health.

Insurance

Our practice takes most insurances. Contact the office to find out if yours is currently accepted.

Flu shots 101

Did you know that getting an influenza (the formal name for “flu”) vaccine every year can save lives? That’s why at Heather Davidson Pediatrics, we follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, which recommend an annual flu shot for all children ages six months and older.

Our practice offers flu clinics in the fall and winter months and can also provide flu shots at wellness visits if the vaccines are available. The vaccine typically comes in two forms: as a shot and also as a nasal spray. Talk to Dr. Davidson to find out which is the best form for your child’s age and health status.
