Thank you for choosing us as your primary care physicians.

Prenatal ‘get acquainted’ visits

We are happy to schedule a free prenatal “get acquainted” consult with expecting parents. This visit is designed to give you, the parent, the opportunity to come in and meet our staff, see our office, and sit down with the doctor of your choice to answer any questions before the baby arrives.

In the hospital

Our practice is affiliated with:

  • Melrose, MA Wakefield Hospital (across the street)
  • Boston Children's Hospital
  • Winchester Hospital

There is no need to pre-register with our office. If you deliver at Melrose, MA Wakefield or Winchester Hospital the doctor on call will see your newborn within 24 hours of delivery. If mom delivers at hospitals other than ones listed above then the house doctor will see your newborn and upon discharge let you know when to follow up with our office.

Baby's first visit

After you and your baby are discharged from the hospital we would like to see your newborn in our office within the first three days for an initial visit. We understand this can be difficult for many new parents. We will try and accommodate families when scheduling this first visit.

Well child visits

Your child will be seen by his or her primary care clinician for well child visits. At this visit a copy of your child's health form will be given to you. A $25.00 charge will be assessed to your account if you don't provide 24-hour notice of a cancellation of an appointment.

Prescription refills

Prescriptions should be called in during regular office hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please allow 24-hours notice for all refills when possible. We do not do prescription refills evenings or weekends.

Once your child is a patient with Fellsway Pediatrics, you will be able to use the HealthCare Support Portal to request refills online.

Specialist referrals and diagnostic testing

As your child’s primary care provider, we will usually want to see your child before referring them to a specialist. We may want to occasionally see a child after they have been seen by a specialist for ongoing care. We are always concerned that your child gets the best care possible by us or anyone we recommend.

Whenever possible, please give us at least one week to arrange for your consultation and follow-up care. We will make every effort when scheduling out of office referrals and testing to accommodate you the best we can.

If your child is sick/Call backs

Please call the office at 781-665-4364. Your call will be triaged by our staff.

  • If urgent, you will speak to a doctor as soon as he or she is available - within one hour.
  • If not urgent, you will receive a call back from our office within four hours.

If necessary, we make every effort to schedule your sick visit that day, with your child’s primary care clinician.

If you need advice

Please feel free to call our office at 781-665-4364 any time of the day. Your call will be returned within four hours.

If you want to contact us via email/online:

Parents of current Fellsway Pediatrics can contact us via the HealthCare Support portal for non-urgent questions, appointment requests, medication refill requests and other non-urgent issues. We will respond within 24 hours or the next business day. Please note, the portal is a secure website. New and prospective patients can also pre-register through the Portal.
