Frequently asked questions
Yes! Briarpatch Pediatrics offers cross coverage for same day sick appointments with Bass River Pediatrics in Yarmouthport on Saturdays and is open at our own Yarmouth office on Sundays.
The PCP, or Primary Care Provider, is your specific primary care provider, and must be selected on your insurance. If the PCP is not selected, your insurance will not be able to properly bill for appointments, and you could be left with large balances for which you will be responsible. For this reason, if your PCP is not properly selected, we ask that you contact your insurance and correct the issue.
Briarpatch Pediatrics is proud to offer patients as much availability for visits as possible, and is staffed with caring and knowledgeable doctors, physician's assistants, and nurse practitioners. We may not be able to always schedule your child with his or her primary care provider, but we are able to provide reliable care whenever you need us, and have a staff equipped to help you and your family with any health concerns.
Briarpatch Pediatrics does not schedule sick visits in advance, however, if your child does need to be seen, please don't hesitate to contact our office, where we will set up a same day sick appointment with an available provider.
