Scheduling an appointment?

Give Waltham a call!

On April 19, 2005, Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham's new scheduling number—(781) 216-2100—officially went live, allowing patient families to book appointments at the Waltham site. The opening of a new phone room in Waltham is the first step toward Children's goal of moving the hospital to Enterprise Scheduling.

"Enterprise Scheduling is a new system that will eventually enable all of our campuses to interface with one another when booking appointments," says James Cote, administrator in Orthopedic Surgery. "Our vision is that when a patient family calls a service, they will have the ability to set up appointments at any of that service's locations—whether that's in Boston or any of our network sites—during a single call."

In the first few weeks of operation, the Waltham site has already scheduled over 700 appointments through September, and the feedback from patients and families has been overwhelmingly positive.
