Ophthalmology expands to the South Shore
New location and additional staff

Last month, Children's Hospital Boston's Department of Ophthalmology expanded to the South Shore in Weymouth when Richard Robb, MD, ophthalmologist-in-chief emeritus, began accepting patient appointments and referrals. He is an expert in strabismus, tearing (nasolacrimal problems), ptosis, congenital glaucoma and diagnostic eye pathology.

And in August, newly appointed faculty member Carolyn Wu, MD, will start accepting patients at both the Weymouth location and at Children's main campus in Boston. Dr. Wu just completed a fellowship in Children's Ophthalmology Department and brings a broad range of expertise in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.

"We welcome the opportunity to offer this improved level of access to the families and referring physicians on the South Shore," says David Hunter, MD, PhD, ophthalmologist-in-chief. "Dr. Robb is one of the leading pediatric ophthalmologists in the United States and Dr. Wu is one of the best doctors we've trained in years."

If you would like to make an appointment for the South Shore clinic, please call (781) 331-4715.
