Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham continues to grow

In an effort to improve our services to referring physicians and their patients, we have extended the hours of some of our services at Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham.

Two of our operating rooms are now open 10 hours a day and we are opening two more operating rooms in January, for a total of six.

Our in-house plain radiology service is now available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday, with on-call availability for inpatients after 9 p.m. and on Saturdays until 3 p.m. Ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A radiologist is also now available for contrast imaging Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 a.m.

Also, our MRI division is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the second and fourth Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to noon.

These changes represent an ongoing commitment to expand services on the Waltham campus and to provide exceptional care to your patients and families.
