Inspiring future nurses

In March, Children’s Hospital Boston’s department of Nursing welcomed a group of high school students to the hospital to learn more about nursing careers. Part of Children’s ongoing Student Career Opportunity Outreach Program (SCOOP), which addresses the statewide nursing shortage, the event gave students the opportunity to talk to nurses from a variety of specialties, tour the hospital and even watch a surgery in progress.
