Help us promote organ donation awareness this April

We are looking for information booth volunteers

Donate LifeAt any given time there are more than 120,000 people waiting to receive an organ for transplant, including 1,800 children. To help these patients thousands of people and organizations across the country work together during the month of April, also known as Donate Life Month, to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation.

To support Donate Life Month the Pediatric Transplant Center hosts an information booth in the lobby of Boston Children’s. Staffed by Pediatric Transplant Center employees, transplant recipients and their families and hospital volunteers the booth provides educational brochures, free giveaways and signs people up to become an organ donor. We are currently looking for volunteers to help run the booth, April 7 through 11, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. If you would like to serve as a volunteer please contact our office at 1-877-TX4-PEDS (877-894-7337).

We are grateful to have been ranked #1 on U.S. News & World Report's list of the best children's hospitals in the nation for the third year in a row, an honor we could not have achieved without the patients and families who inspire us to do our very best for them. Thanks to you, Boston Children's is a place where we can write the greatest children's stories ever told.”
