Dr. Packard is a Senior Research Associate in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Children's Hospital Boston, Research Associate in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and he is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.

Application of transition-metal chemistry to the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals; copper-based PET radiopharmaceuticals; radionuclide generators; Technetium and Rhenium chemistry.
