Dr. Van den Abbeele is the Chief of the Department of Radiology, Director of Nuclear Medicine/PET, and Founding Director of the Center for Biological Imaging in Oncology (CBIO) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She also serves as Co-Director of the Tumor Imaging Metrics Core (TIMC) at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.

Molecular imaging; Positron emission tomography (PET); oncology; evaluation of new drugs for treatment of cancer; monitoring of therapeutic response using imaging; imaging as a biomarker of response.
