About Rebecca Vieira

Rebecca received her MD from New York Medical College then went on to complete a Pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She came to Boston Children’s Hospital to complete a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship and joined the faculty of the Division of Emergency Medicine here in 2008. Rebecca completed the Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education in 2014.

Research Overview

Dr. Vieira’s research interests include emergency point-of-care ultrasound and medical education. Her recent efforts have focused on the use of point-of-care ultrasound in pediatric patients and educating pediatric emergency medicine physicians in the use of point-of-care ultrasound.
