Research Overview

Research Overview Shanshan Liu's research focuses on studying the factors that affect the quality of pediatric care using measures such as the Child Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Hospital Survey (Child HCAHPS) and the 30-Day Pediatric Readmissions. Her research interests also include studying patient safety through adverse events measured by the Global Assessment of Pediatric Patient Safety (GAPPS) trigger tool.

About the Researcher

About the Researcher Shanshan Liu is a Biostatistician at the Institutional Centers for Clinical and Translational Research at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is an epidemiologist and public health professional. After graduating from Tufts University, she worked as a research associate at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review doing health technology assessments. In her current role, she collaborates with physician investigators and provides support to a variety of projects.
