Dr. Gooding's research focuses on adolescent and young adult predictors of cardiovascular disease in later life. More specifically, she has been looking at health behavior patterns in adolescence and early young adulthood that are associated with maintaining cardiovascular health as individuals age.  Dr. Gooding also studies innovative models of inter-professional education in adolescent health.
Through her research, Dr. Gooding aims to:

  • Identify factors in adolescence that promote healthy aging
  • Engage adolescents and young adults in decision-making regarding cardiovascular disease screening and health promotion
  • Develop novel strategies for inter-professional education

Holly Gooding received her MD from the University of California San Francisco and her MSc from the University of California Berkeley, School of Public Health.
