June 2018

Lauren Gunasti has joined our lab as a summer intern and will stay until August. She is currently an undergraduate student at Williams College majoring in Chemistry.

Amy Jia has joined our lab as a summer intern and will stay until August. She is currently an undergraduate student at Harvard University majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology.

May 2018

Esteban Orellana, PhD joined our lab as a post-doctoral fellow. Esteban earned his PhD in Biological Sciences from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Dr. Du’s manuscript entitled ‘An Intermediate Pluripotent State Controlled by MicroRNAs Is Required for the Naive-to-Primed Stem Cell Transition’ was published in Cell Stem Cell.

December 2017

We welcomed Sarah Dixon-Clarke, PhD as a joint post-doctoral fellow with the Eric Fischer Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Sarah earned her PhD in Structural Biology from the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) at the University of Oxford, UK.

October 2017

Qi Liu, PhD joined our lab as a post-doctoral fellow. Qi earned his PhD in Forestry Bioinformatics from the Research Institute of Forestry at the Chinese Academy of Forestry.

June 2017

Aditya (Adi) Mittal has joined our lab as a summer intern and will stay until August. He is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh.

May 2017

At the 3rd Annual RNA Medicine Symposium, hosted by Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the HMS Initiative for RNA Medicine was officially launched. Dr. Gregory is a co-director of the initiative. For more information, please click here.

Connor Dunn has joined our lab as a summer intern and will stay until August. He is currently an undergraduate student at Williams College.

September 2016

Xia He and Shan Qi have joined our lab from September – May as Student Trainees/Interns. Currently, they are both undergraduate students at Tongji University.

August 2016

Dr. Pirouz’s manuscript entitled ‘Dis3l2-Mediated Decay Is a Quality Control Pathway for Noncoding RNAs’ was published in Cell Reports. Marta Seco Cervera has joined our lab from August – December as a Student Trainee. She received her Master's Degree in Biomedical Biotechnology from Polytechnic University of Valencia and is now earning her PhD from University of Valencia. Julia Ramirez has joined our lab from August – October as a Research Assistant. She recently graduated from Autónoma University of Madrid with a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biomedicine and now she is enrolled in a PhD program in Molecular Biosciences in the same university.

July 2016

Dr. Nishimoto completed his post-doctoral fellowship and returned to Japan. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Spring 2016

Dr. Gregory was promoted to Professor at Harvard Medical School. A reception was held in his honor on May 24, 2016.
