Topic:“Novel Immunotherapies to Target ALK-Positive Tumors”

Speaker: Roberto Chiarle, MD

The purpose of this talk is to:

  • Provide an overview of the role of ALK as a driver oncogene in several tumors, including lymphoma, neuroblastoma and lung cancer
  • Discuss strategies for the development of a specific immunotherapy against ALK-positive tumors, in particular the design of an ALK cancer vaccine and ALK-specific CAR T cells
  • Discuss the strategies and plans for potential clinical trials that will use an ALK-based immunotherapy.

Target Audience

Faculty, fellows, and clinical research staff as well as all other members of the BCH research community who desire further knowledge of these topics
