| Trial Description: | This study will evaluate a new method for assessing the progression of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) called electrical impedance myography (EIM). We are recruiting subjects with SMA as well as persons without SMA to serve as controls. |
| Recruitment Info: | Children over the age of 1 month, that have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, or who are over the age of 1 month and do not have spinal muscular atrophy (willing to serve as a normal control) may be eligible. |
