The Technology & Innovation Development Office (TIDO) provides a gateway to Children's Hospital Boston researchers and technologies in all major biomedical disciplines for both pediatric and adult markets. The TIDO facilitates the transfer of patentable and non-patentable intellectual property, research tools, know-how, and other technologies to industry through exclusive and non-exclusive licenses, option agreements, and the formation of start-up companies. Successful relationships have been established through our commercial partners' commercialization of the intellectual capital generated at this world-class research and healthcare institution. The TIDO has also has creative partnering and fundraising strategies to finance and manage early stage development of pediatric technologies.
