Flower Bruce Zetter remembers Judah Folkman

Bruce Zetter Bruce Zetter, PhD, Children's Hospital Boston's chief scientific officer, joined Judah Folkman's laboratory in 1978. The following year he and Dr. Folkman showed that endothelial cells in large blood vessels are different from those in capillaries, a milestone in angiogenesis research. In 1980 Dr. Zetter went on to identify the first angiogenesis inhibitor, interferon-alpha.
