Boston - Inpatient CTSU, Main Building, 6 East
The Inpatient Clinical Translational Study Unit on Main 6 East is an 8-bed unit centrally located within the main building of Boston Children's Hospital. The unit is organized to support the management of children participating in clinical research. The CTSU includes a metabolic kitchen and dining room. CTSU nurses are experienced research RN's, CPR certified, proficient with IV insertion and maintenance, and experienced with timely collection and bedside processing of blood, urine, and other research samples.
Boston - CAT/CR, Farley 4
The Center for Ambulatory Treatment and Clinical Research is (CAT/CR) is a unique 10 bed ambulatory program for children participating in research located on Farley 4. Services include: Infusion therapies, diagnostic testing, and procedural support.
Waltham - Ambulatory CTSU, 3rd Floor, West Wing, Infusion Unit
The ambulatory CTSU at Waltham is adjacent to the Waltham Infusion Center. The outpatient unit has 3 private exam rooms which can be converted into consult rooms.
