The Division of General Pediatrics sponsors research activities through the Primary Care Clinic. Through this clinic, the Young Parents Program team follows a longstanding cohort of teen aged mothers and fathers and their babies. Many members of the Division are engaged in developing systems of care for Children with Special Health Care Needs and scrutinizing each system to ensure its feasibility, applicability and replicability as well as its financial viability.

Featured researchers in the Division of General Pediatrics hold faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School.
