Devon Nicole House
Image Just a short walk (.3 miles) from the doors of Children's Hospital Boston, the Devon Nicole House provides affordable accommodations for up to 13 families while their children receive the medical care they need from Children's.

Who can stay?
The Devon Nicole House is available to any family member or support person of a Children's patient (inpatient or short-term outpatient interventions).
What is the cost to stay?
Nightly rates are $50.00 for the first night and $25.00 each additional night.
How long can I stay?
Three months is the maximum amount of time a family can stay at the DNH.
How can I make arrangements?
Reservations can be made Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm. A referral for the Devon Nicole House can be made by:
  • completing an online application (below)
  • calling the DNH office at 617-355-8457
  • a Children's social worker
  • the Center for Families
Application
Prior to your arrival, an application form needs to be completed to assure the best comfort and care for all guests. Completing this form does not guarantee your reservation, but is the first step in the application process. Once your application has been received, you will be contacted by DNH staff.

You can download an application and fill it out electronically. Once you have completed the form:

  1. click on the "File" menu
  2. select "Save As"
  3. rename the document using your name (for example, "smith-application.doc").
  4. You can then fax completed applications to (617) 730-0223. Or, you may email it as an attachment.

Directions to Children's Hospital Boston

Walking/driving directions from Children's to the Devon Nicole House:

Exit out the Main Entrance. Turn left onto Longwood Avenue. Proceed straight for approximately three blocks (cross over Brookline Avenue). Turn left onto Pilgrim Road and then turn right onto Crossover Street. The Devon Nicole House is on the 5th floor of 21 Autumn Street.
Parking Information
Unfortunately, there is no parking available at the Devon Nicole House. To check in and drop off your luggage, you will need to park in front of 21 Autumn Street and obtain a 20 mintue parking pass from the security desk.

Long-term parking is available for all Children's patients and their families or guardians at the Children's Garage, located at 298 Longwood Avenue, across from the hospital's Main Entrance. The garage is open 24 hours a day.
