The above resources are for families of children with extraordinary medical needs, such as those seen in Children's Hospital Boston's transplant programs and the Complex Care Service. Many of the resources are useful to the general patient population, however. For basic information, parents can contact the Center for Families or the Social Work Department.
Our resource guide can be used by clicking on the above links which include important resources as well as state information from locations which Children's patients generally travel. There is a brief description of each category as well as each resource. While we have listed web sites that may be useful, Children's is not necessarily familiar with the organizations or individuals sponsoring the Web sites, which may be changing constantly or may not be updated at all. Children's lacks specific knowledge of services provided by these resources and Web sites and is not endorsing them.
