The main entrance to Children's Hospital Boston is located across from the intersection of Longwood Avenue and Blackfan Street in Boston's Longwood Medical Area. Valet parking service is available at the Main Entrance driveway Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

1. Hunnewell Building
Opened in 1914, the Hunnewell Building was the first building on the Longwood campus and included an administration area, a nurses' residence and a variety of inpatient services. Today it houses outpatient clinics and numerous administrative offices. The above photo depicts the facade of Hunnwell's entrance circa 1919 and the hospital's herd of cows that provided tuberculosis-free milk for the patients.

2. Patient and Family Garage
The Patient and Family Garage is conveniently located directly opposite from the hospital's Main Entrance and is open 24 hours a day. Children's patients and their parents or guardians can park in the garage at a discounted rate with a validated ticket.

3. Karp Family Research Laboratories
The Karp Family Research Laboratories building is located directly opposite the Main Entrance to Children's. Opened in 2003 with 12 stories of light-filled atria and research labs, the building houses a thousand researchers studying different diseases and is also home to more than one million zebra fish that have become a key animal model for studying many genetic diseases in humans.
