The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Children's Hospital Boston is known nationally as the preeminent center for the care of children and young adults with a wide range of developmental disorders, congenital, neuromuscular, and post traumatic problems of the musculoskeletal system.

As one of the first comprehensive, interdisciplinary programs for the treatment of children with orthopedic problems, Children's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is one of the busiest and most experienced orthopedic surgery centers in the country.
